The Shun Classic Blonde Santoku Knife is a beautiful, Asian-inspired chef's knife. Designed for vegetables, proteins, fruit for slicing, dicing, and chopping. The slight belly curve enables the cook to rock the blade slightly and makes this santoku as easy to use as a chef's knife. It is especially well suited to a down-and-forward cutting motion (push cut) and many cooks swear by their santoku for top performance.
The Shun Classic Blonde series features beautiful Damascus-clad blades with D-shaped PakkaWood handles in a light and beautiful natural wood tone. The razor-sharp blades offer top performance. Shun's proprietary high-performance VG-MAX steel provides incredible edge retention. Blades are handcrafted of durable clad with Damascus stainless steel, ground and bead-blasted creating a flowing pattern of the layered steel. The result is a line of knives that are sharp, durable, and corrosion resistant, as well as beautiful to hold.
